Mueller Ministry Up-date

We were busy in July with lots of children's ministry happening! The students were great about gathering everything to make each event a special treat for the kids. In 2 days, we ministered to 4 different groups. Our Friday night class is big enough that we divided into 2 sessions--one gathered at an orphanage, and the other went to a church. They fed 80 kids at the orphanage, and
100 at the church after the fun filled activities.
We were so proud of the students as they learned how to be effective in ministry to children.
Thelma Dominguez helped us out in teaching our students. We remember Thelma from 25 years ago when she was a troubled teen. Her goal in life was to join the military so she could assasinate her father who had abandoned her when she was a baby! How glad we are that God turned her life around! She is an a great blessing to her church now that she heads up a thriving children's church.
Thank you for allowing us to bring the good news of
salvation and victory to these many children. It was such a joy to see the excitement in our students as well as the little ones. We were all very blessed with these activities! Who knows how many lives have been changed to do His service.

Feb report - 2010

We have had a successful begining of another
Bible School year. The Lord always amazes us
with a good group of students that are hungry to learn more of the precious Word.

More than 400 students come from various economic
levels, different educational backgrounds, all
levels of education, all ages, but all wanting to
have a better grasp of the Word of God.
We are looking forward to a great year, helping
people in any way we can. We have had oppor-
tunities to give materials to those in remote areas
who wish to teach the Word of God. We are encouraged that they feel confident to do it!
We expect that we will have more exciting news to share within the year. God opens doors and we walk through them. At a time in our lives when we think we can slow down, God kicks us into another gear and says, "You can't slow down!"
How grateful we are for faithful supporters like you who have faith in us. God is doing a mighty work in Guatemala, and we're just so pleased to be a part of it! Thank you for your part in this ministry as well.
All our love,
Dick and Sharon

Guatemala Christmas

The Nativity scene in found every where this time of the year. Every community has several Nativities--even in the government buildings! How wonderful to see how well received it is!
Amazing as this is, we notice that the evangelical community does not participate in this. They seem to think that it is a Catholic thing, so the evangelicals do not have a Nativity in their homes. Many evangelicals do not have Christmas trees either--and many pastors preach against it.
Well--we're glad we've been set free in Christ and that we can celebrate His birth with or without a tree or a nativity.
We will be with our kids this Christmas celebrating His love. We're so thankful for all that Jesus has done in our lives. What a Wonder He is! Be blessed in this special time of the year as you enjoy Life in Jesus Christ!
